Frequently asked QuestionsF.A.Q.
Is there a case for changing the schedule?
The schedule may be changed or modified due to the weather conditions or unforeseen last-minute difficulties.
How can I confirm my participation in the intensive courses?
In order to complete the process you have to fill the registration form and to deposit the 30% of the cost approximately one month before you start the lessons.
Do I get a certificate for completing my courses?
Yes, all students are provided with a certificate of attendance.
How are the online courses organized?
We offer online lessons that directly and efficiently focus on the needs of each student. You can attend as many hours as you want per week, and we are flexible to arrange a schedule that will be convenient for all of us.
What is the material used in the online courses?
We prefer to work with our own material and combine it with a variety of material from various books depending on our students’ needs. Therefore, you don’t need to buy a specific book since we provide you with our own material based on innovative language teaching methods that turn our lessons into an enjoyable learning activity.
May I attend group online courses?
Of course, you have the option to attend either private or small group online courses (2-4 students).
What options do I have for intensive language and culture courses?
Our students use to choose one of the packets (20- hour course, 40- hour course or 60- hour course) but if you think that you need something less intensive, tell us how you imagine it, and we will try to make a special offer.
How many hours do the intensive courses last daily?
Normally, our intensive courses include 4 hours of Greek language and culture lessons (usually in the morning). Of course this is something flexible, and we can change the schedule according to the students' plans and their needs.
Are the courses in group or individual?
Since these lessons don’t have a strict deadline of registration we cannot be sure if they will be private or in small group.
Are the activities included in the hours of the intensive courses?
The activities are included in the hours of the lessons per week that you enrolled (20- hour course, 40- hour course or 60- hour course). So, if your schedule includes 4 hours of lesson per day for example, for one day you can have 2 hours of lesson at class and 2 hours of an outdoor activity, as the activities are part of the educational process.
How many students participate in group courses?
We usually work in small groups (2-4 students per class), to directly and efficiently focus on the needs of each student.
Do the activities have an extra cost?
Some of our activities have an extra cost (e.g. guided tour, cost of the tickets in a monument, cost of means of transport, meals, etc) but this is something that depends on your interests and it is flexible.
What kind of cultural activities may I attend?
Our activities vary. We used to walk among the streets of our city talking about the past and the present, the history and the multicultural features (with or without a tour guide), we visit the historical sites, the museums and every interesting corner of the city. We hike, come in contact with nature, eat together, cook, try a lot of recipes, go to the theater or the cinema, talk with the locals, participate in festivals, try wines or other local products etc.
Is it necessary to attend cultural activities if I register in intensive courses?
It is not necessary to attend cultural activities. Furthermore, there is no restriction to the number of the activities that you want to attend. We, also, try to organize them after a discussion with the students, if this is possible, in order to ensure that it is something that they really want to do.
Are cultural activities based on my interests?
All of our activities follow the needs and the interests of our students, the level of the Greek language and the weather as well. We also try to organize them after a discussion with the students, if this is possible, in order to ensure that it is something that you really want to do.
Are the cultural activities related to the lessons?
Each educational unit is appropriately adapted to the outdoor cultural activities and includes useful vocabulary and grammar skills, listening, writing, speaking and reading exercises, word games and role-playing games.

SAID ABOUT US
I’m not sure how to succinctly say all of the wonderful things I would like to express about this language school and its teachers – but I am so grateful to have found them and to now consider them friends! Thank you Peek at Greek!
They clearly have a passion for linguistics, and don’t just teach you vocabulary but truly facilitate a deep understanding of the language and the country. They are intentional about connecting people and respecting the different traditions of Greece while also welcoming newcomers and honoring diversity and global perspectives.
The lessons were perfectly tailored to our wants, needs and level.
